Metro North - MTA, New York:

Metro-North is a suburban commuter rail service that is run and managed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), an authority of New York State. Metro-North runs service between New York City to the northern suburbs in New York, Connecticut, as well as to other regions including (in conjunction with New Jersey Transit) parts of New Jersey. Metro North is currently constructing a new shop facility to replace the original shop complex at the Harmon yard. With 275,000 square- foot, it is the largest maintenance facility. Railquip is supplying the necessary lifting and maintenance equipment, including: Six (6) sets under floor Car-Hoists with fully automated movable Body Supports to ensure the capability to lift the complete line of 7 different rail cars, as well as 11 turntables to ensure the quick location change of disconnected trucks.
