Mini Rail Car Mover

| The Mini Railcar Mover is capable of moving 165 tons in forward or reverse, on level surface at a speed of 3.1 MPH. Originally designed for shunting tank or freight cars by engaging the wheel, it can now be equipped with a lifting pad attachment enabling its use outside the bogie area. A hydraulically powered lifting device engages the vehicle at the lifting pad and transfers the load to the running surface for its tractive power. Designed for years of heavy use, the Mini Railcar Mover will virtually eliminate the need for capstans, winches, "rabbits" or heavy-duty track mounted shunting vehicles in your Rail Transit Maintenance Shop area.
